Know someone who needs help with their energy bill? Give them a Gift of Energy. Use BGE’s Gift of Energy Program to purchase energy bill credits for friends, family.

BGE is focused on ensuring that all residential and commercial customers in central Maryland have access to energy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Steps taken include suspending service disconnections, waiving new late payment frees, and reconnecting customers whose service was disconnected prior to the March 13 moratorium on service disconnections. Now, we’re announcing BGE’s Gift of Energy Program.

For customers who are looking for a way to support their friends, family, or others in need, BGE’s Gift of Energy  (BGE.com/GiftofEnergy) offers the chance to contribute to their energy bill. The Gift of Energy appears on a future bill as a credit to their account. 

To send a gift payment, complete the Gift of Energy form. Mail the form with a check or money order payable to BGE:
