Launched in September 2019, the BGE Workforce Collaborative provides a training program in partnership with Civic Works, for individuals who are interested in pursuing a utility infrastructure career.

BGE is thrilled to celebrate the 100th Workforce Collaborative program graduate!

The program provides construction labor training, job readiness and related skills training to prepare program graduates will the skills needed to begin a career in the utility industry. Participants who successfully complete the program requirements have the opportunity to interview for full-time positions with BGE contractors and other industry partners.

Since its’ inception, 80% of program graduates are employed with BGE contractors, earning on average $35K annually.
