BGE launched the Smart Energy Workforce Development Program in 2015 to increase local community accessibility to the company’s Utility Trainee program. This program is a joint effort between BGE, local workforce development agencies and Career and Technical Education high schools in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Daquan’s success is a great example of the partnerships BGE continues to build with the community, and came full circle in May when he ran into his former principal during the unveiling of the winner of BGE’s Wires Down Video Challenge.
